Founder & Creative Director

Storytelling, symbolism, and Southern Gothic influences are central to my approach. This lens was shaped by an upbringing in the rural, isolated South, and my reality as a gay, neurodivergent individual.

Living outside default society gives one a natural understanding of how to question standard ways of doing things. When working with a business, I draw from this and my background to find pathways that traditional frameworks often overlook.

02

In late 2022, I left the tech workforce totally burnt out [again]. The environment is unsustainable. Looking for an antidote, I studied the highly autonomous, asynchronous frameworks of companies like DesignjoyGitHub, Basecamp, and Gumroad.

The result is Kit. Office of Design & Revenue.

Kit. is a documentation-first, 100% remote & async productized design and ops micro-agency.

We run all internal goings-on and client projects strictly inside Basecamp under a radical, anti-burnout model: zero meetings and zero video calls. Even with clients. We trade the performative friction of live meetings for clear, async work that keeps everyone accountable and moves projects along.

Generative art, vintage graphic design, analog collage, digital collage, found material/ephemera all play a part in the creative output at Kit.

When I am not working on Kit. projects, my wife Alaine and I run analog textile works - designing and hand making garments along with home & lifestyle goods.

I also spend my time:

  • building audio and video consoles

  • reading Jung, Campbell, biographies, spiritual, neuroscience, and religious topics [I've been working through Campbell's Sarah Lawrence reading list for ~25 years & provide depth psychology consulting here]

  • watching old 30s-60s movies

  • gardening in our Certified Wildlife Habitat yard [Alaine and I offer eco landscape design here]

  • learning the Teenage Engineering Medieval synth

  • working on my ancestry.com tree (I offer ancestry research here)

Hello! I'm Florencia, a senior graphic designer with 7 years of experience helping businesses and creative professionals bring their ideas to life through thoughtful, polished design.

I specialize in:

- Brand identity and logo design: complete visual identities, from concept to brand guidelines
- Editorial and book design: coffee table books, memoirs, brochures, reports and white papers in InDesign
- Print production: production-ready artwork, print and cut file setup, large-format printing, die-cut preparation
- Social media design: consistent, on-brand content systems for daily publishing
- Presentations, business cards, posters, packaging and album artwork

02
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and Audiovisual Communication and a Master's Degree in Art History, which gives my work a strong foundation in composition, visual storytelling and cultural awareness. I don't just make things look good, I make sure every design communicates exactly what it needs to.

My clients value three things about working with me: clear communication, reliable deadlines, and a genuine care for their project's success. I'm comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and I have experience leading creative teams and managing projects end to end.

I'm a native Spanish speaker with bilingual English (C2), plus advanced French and Italian, so I'm a great fit for multilingual and international projects.
